Dr. JaAsha Pena, PT, DPT is the owner and founder of Ambient Physiotherapy & Wellness. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. 

After graduating, Dr. Ja worked at a reputable outpatient facility in Tucson, Arizona where she received mentorship and education in treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction as well as orthopedic conditions such as back pain, hip pain, headaches and more. Her passion for pelvic health and women's health led Dr. Ja to complete an American Board of Physical Therapy Residency & Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE) Women’s Health Residency through the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning and postpartum doula training through the National Black Doula's Association. 

Dr. Ja understands the value and importance of access to high quality pre- and postnatal care and seeks to make her services accessible to all birthing people. She works to support postpartum clients so that they can thrive in the fourth trimester and beyond.

Though the pregnant and postpartum populations are close to her heart, Dr. Ja works with individuals from ages 5 and up to address neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction to improve their quality of life.
